This leaflet provides a summary of the paper presented at BIEN, Munich, Sept 2012. Now retired, Annie Miller lectured in economics at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, for most of her working life. A co-founder of The Basic Income Research Group (BIRG) in 1984, which became a charity in 1989 and changed its name to Citizen’s Income Trust in 1992, she has been its Chair since 2001.
